    Style Name: Orbi Tri-band AC3000 add-on Satellite (RBS50)Verified Purchase
    I bought this satellite to add to my existing Orbi RBK50 network. The coverage has imrpoved and there are no deadspots now. I get the same download speeds over my WiFi as my ISP allows - 300Mbps. All 3 units work as one and ensures a single SSID network spans my home. So no disconnections even if I move from one area to another while on a video call or conference within my home. Not once the router had to be restarted after its latest firmware upgrade that was done 6 months back. Reliable and steady performance and I am happy with it.

After initial setup of Main Router, the setting up of the Satellites was simple as I just had to plug them in and scan the device barcode in the Orbi App. After the setup, the range of the mesh network covered the entire house and I received very good network speed with it.

    Kind of the best budget option for me to cover around 4k sqft. across 3 floors. Coverage is great but not as promised on paper, plus sometimes it has problems switching between routers/satellites or providing consistent speeds to remote corners. The higher budget options work awesome and many of these issues have improved with firmware upgrades. Overall happy with the purchase, gets the work done.

    I have 4 satellites and 1 router now for a full coverage of my home. Adding a new satellite is breeze and they pair among themselves dor daisy chaining or star topology. This way router can be placed somewhere with all its wiring and then these satellites can be mounted on walls with broader and deeper range and away from any mischief.

    I am using the Orbi Mesh Network system (1 Router and 2 Satellites) in my apartment and my experience has been excellent in terms of seamless coverage. Range of each unit gets limited in a major way if there are walls and hence I have 2 satellites to cover my entire apartment. But coverage is seamless when you move around the house with the device. Download speeds are also good for various streaming devices kept around the house. Of course, it's a bit on the expensive side.

    Bought the original NETGEAR mesh system some time ago but still had a dead-spot in my house.
    After enough complaints I decided to add another satellite.
    It arrived promptly was well packed.
    Followed the instructions on the Orbi app to add satellite which was straight forward.
    Oddly needed to repeat 3-4 times but in the end it connected with no problem.
    Problem solved. No more complaints and fast Wi-Fi through the home!
